Window Concepts of MN teamed up with Twins Cities Live and our friends at ProVia to give the Krejchik family of Mounds View, MN a well-deserved entry door makeover! A new front door can dramatically improve your home's curb appeal and as the Krejchik family found out safety too! Greg Ramel, the owner of Window Concepts of MN, demonstrated how unsafe the original hollow core door was – and that his crew was able to kick it in!
It wasn't just the hollow core that made the original door unsafe - it also contained lead paint. According to Ramel, "The first thing we are going to do is to test for lead." Window Concepts of MN is an EPA lead-safe certified company and has been trained to properly remove the contaminated door.
To complete the makeover, Window Concepts of MN installed a new ProVia Heritage Fiberglass Entry Door, stained Oak, with Tranquility Glass and Antique Brass hardware. Improving the overall energy efficiency, safety, and curb appeal.
